With humble beginnings as an acoustic 2 piece group, Misty Blue has evolved quickly to establish itself as an intriguing young rock band that has carved out a spot for themselves in Toronto’s emerging music space.

Refining their sound comes naturally to the band, with each single release revealing a new layer to what their collective contributions can create.

At the heart of it all is a timeless quality, drawing on folk and classic rock, but the young artists aren’t afraid to experiment, allowing elements of alternative, new wave, and grunge to shine through. The result is contagious.

Driven by vocal performances by lead singer Ally Foote that are intimate and raw, Misty Blue’s music is about the search for yourself, and learning to take the ups and downs in stride.

In the last year, the band has headlined shows at iconic local venues like The Horseshoe Tavern, and the Drake Underground, while also reaching wider audiences at a handful of summer festivals, sharing the stage with artists like Blue Rodeo, Tokyo Police Club, and Serena Ryder.
